England’s limited skipper Eoin Morgan has confused racist accusations against him of historical tweets in which he claimed to have mocked Indian fans with the word sir. The captain who won the World Cup in England said the use of the word sir is a sign of admiration and respect.
The development comes after the ECB suspended English fighter Ollie Robinson from international cricket because of historical tweets that were considered racist and sexist. Even people like James Anderson and Jos Buttler, in addition to Morgan, have gotten under the scanner after previous Tweets have returned to social media.
Morgan tagged Buttler in a tweet saying Sir youre my favorite beater. The use of Siri was said to be a sign of ridicule against Indian fans.

The accusations against Morgan even caught the attention of his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders, according to CEO Venky Mysore.
