Richmond boys basketball coach Donald Pettigrew spoke to HighSchoolOT after his team defeated Jordan in the fourth round of the 4A state playoffs on Tuesday.

Going to the regional final. Really nice way for you guys here at home tonight against Jordan’s felt like the third quarter, your defense really turned up the intensity and the pressure and man, I’m just trying to mix it up man. You know, you did a good job penetrating the man, being aggressive all night, so different looks, you’re doing great helping a lot, better than all season. So I have more this year. It’s kind of like this 28 in your 1st 31 juju coming in, the transition of the industrial year marks for consistency throughout the year and you know what and contributes a good job of sharing the ball and sharing the ball. That was the largest share of people last year. I’m sure there’s a kind of he comes back, you know what does it mean to you to have this man? You know, that means a lot of kids, you know, a big shot at the man, he’s had the same group of kids since second grade. So I mean they’ve been men for a long time and I just went up to and man and try, you know, try, you know, help him, you know the young man. So I mean Paul was a great guy man when he left us, we talk every day, you know, I try to encourage them. I never, I never want to come back home and tell them, you know, just be yourself man and mr community man and I’m just so grateful to have him back as well. It will be holly spring for you guys in the regional final. How much do you know about them and what do you want to see to make sure you’re prepared? I mean they put a lot like us man one round four man, they shoot the ball well penetrate so you know our hands you know we got a lot of work to do but I mean we’re ready for the challenge man and 668 post. I mean he’s a dog man, you know he’s tough so we were gonna try to make it hard as much as possible for him.
