“Although advanced age is the greatest risk factor for cancer, about 10% of all cancers occur in people under 50, so if someone of any age has any of the symptoms that persist unexplained symptoms: a lump, bleeding, pain, shortness of breath or weight loss, they should contact their general practitioner.
