If you haven’t been attached to the cinematic ball (through a cable attached directly to your head, of course), you probably won’t know that a fourth Matrix is on the way before the end of the year. But The Matrix 4 is set to hit theaters this December — and after years of tightly keeping every detail, we now know what title to demand at the box office: The Matrix Resurrections. The name was revealed at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, along with the first trailer – which unfortunately hasn’t made its way online yet.

According to those who watched the trailer, here’s a brief description of what happened: Keanu Reeves’ character (is he still Thomas Anderson?) apparently has nothing to remember from his previous life, and visits his therapist (played by Neil Patrick Harris). But it wasn’t long before he was back in the crazy action and Trinity world of Carrie-Anne Moss – even if she and Neo barely recognized each other. Also appeared? Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (it has long been rumored to play an incarnation of Morpheus, details still tbc) who fights our hero.

Matrix Resurrections comes nearly 20 years after the 2003 double-billing of The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions — with a title that neatly continues the renaming convention without a full transition to Matrix Rebooted. Lana Wachowski is doing solo directing this time around, from a screenplay she wrote with Aleksandar Hemon and Cloud Atlas author David Mitchell. It stars Jessica Yu Lee Henwick, Jonathan Groff, and Jada Pinkett Smith, who returns as Niobe. Prepare to re-enter the Matrix when The Matrix Resurrections hits cinemas on December 22.

He also appears as part of the Warners? A new Batman trailer, we’re waiting to see it online too. A Matt Reeves movie (with Robert Pattinson) is set to be released on March 4 next year.
