Desperate for news of her aunt’s disappearance, Tuba Yolcu sets out for a gym where the victims of the powerful earthquake that struck her hometown in Turkey lie in body bags.
“We heard that (the authorities) will not keep the bodies waiting after a certain period of time, they say they will take them and bury them,” she said.
“God willing, we will find her,” Yolko said with a worried face.
The 7.8-magnitude earthquake on Monday hit the southeastern city of Kahramanmaras, causing catastrophe in the region and Syria, killing at least 28,000 people.
