The defending Super Bowl champion took part in a match against the New York Giants with a two-game losing streak, but the uncertainty from the mini-recession disappeared with a 30-10 win.

The defense did not give up on the Buccaneers in the fourth quarter, forcing the third substitution to keep the game comfortably under control.
