NORTHFIELD, Vt. The Norwich University tennis team came up short Saturday afternoon in a loss to Eastern Nazarene at Shapiro Fieldhouse.
The Lions took the upper hand at first singles and never looked back. Mattias Tchantouridze (Montpelier, Vt.) lasted a couple of games as well Molly Twombly (Rockport, Mass.) and Ethan Bay (Manlius, NY). In doubles Dimitry Mucha and Sebastian Mucha (Harwinton, Conn.) held their own, but were eventually defeated.
The Cadets will take the field at Shapiro Fieldhouse again on Tuesday against NVU-Johnson at 3 p.m.
